[ She seems even brighter, knowing who it was. Knowing that Nero met someone as bright and cheerful as Sora and got along with him made her really happy. Sora was such a sweet boy after all. Though she got this feeling that he might be taking on too much but... ]

I do know him. He was rather friendly with me when I first arrived here. I actually promised to help him out a little with this party he wanted to throw. I told him, I probably shouldn't be invited [ Since it was a Singles party] but he insisted.

Yeah? Can't say I'm surprised there.

[ To which he smiles over to her and helps himself to some of the cooking. As always, it's pretty great. ]

That singles thing you mean?

[ He has to pause in his eating to chuckle a little behind his fist. ]

Guess you didn't tell him you're not single then?

[faithfulsinging]

[ She laughs softly with that blushing look still painted on her cheeks. ]

I tried, but unfortunately I don't think it got through.

[ Though if Sora did take Nero up on his offer sometime, she was pretty sure he would realize by some point. She knows she wouldn't hide her affections for Nero even if they had a guest. ]

[ All the better for him then. ]

He means well. Poor kid seems to be feeling a bit lonely or something.

[ He mulls over that with a thoughtful hum as he forks another good helping of homecooked food into his mouth. ]

That would explain why he wanted this party to be so successful...

[ She trailed off while taking a small sip of water. Her eyes fall on Nero for a moment, this warmth growing on her face. It was such a silly thought, but being able to eat with Nero like this and seeing all these moments where Nero looked relaxed really just made her feel like she was home.

She hoped Nero wouldn't catch her staring, but she also didn't really make much of an effort to hide it either.]

[ And catch her staring he does... with a mouth full of her cooking, no less. ]

What? Did I spill some on me?

[ And he glances down to his chest then, even rubbing at his chin to see if there was any there. ]

H-huh? No, not at all! You're just fine, Nero!

[ She snapped out of her thoughts when Nero spoke up, realizing just how much she was staring. She shook her head and quickly turned her gaze back to her own plate. Her cheeks starting to burn with embarrassment. ]

[ Still rubbing at his chin, although a little more slowly now, he can't help but smile a little to himself before he reaches out under the table with his foot and brushes it against her leg playfully. ]

Just fine, huh? I could say the same about you.

[faithfulsinging]

[ She let out surprised noise when she felt the light touch of his foot against her leg. If there was any hope for her to hide the color in her cheeks before it was definitely gone now.]

I-I didn't really do anything different.

[ She reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, trying to pull in that flustered look on her face. ]

[ Chuckling some under his breath, he helps himself to another bite of her cooking before he leans over to press a kiss to her cheek, unable to stop himself from doing so. ]

Just being you is all it takes.

[ To which he takes his dish with him so that he can put it in the sink and rinse it off and such, not about to just leave a mess there for her. ]

You plan on giving out candy here or whatever to kids for Halloween?

[faithfulsinging]

[ Nero and his sweet little touches, his soft lips, they were going to slay her one day. Somehow every little thing he did sent her falling for him even further. She watched as he gets up from the table with his own dish. She didn't want to hear anyone ever say Nero wasn't polite.

She takes a few more bites of her own food with a soft hum in her throat. ]

I did give it a thought or two. Seeing the children around here look so excited for the holiday, it makes me want to get in the spirit a little too.

Oh yeah? You planning on dressing up?

[ Glancing back to her over his shoulder, he smiles a bit at the thought, cocking his head to the side then. ]

Do I get a sneak peek or I gotta wait to say trick or treat?

[faithfulsinging]

[ That got a flustered smile out of her as she stared right back at him. He was a better flirt than she was, or at least that's what she was thinking. ]

I haven't picked out a costume yet. Maybe you could toss some ideas my way?

Hmm...

[ Wish his dish both washed and rinsed, he leans back against the kitchen counter while drying over his hands with the dish towel, seeming to be deep in thought over suggestions. ]

Guess I can't say you'd look good in anything, huh?

[faithfulsinging]

[ With her plate finally empty, she slowly stands up, ready to cross the room into the kitchen as well with her own dish. She let out a soft laugh, giving Nero a warm smile as she moves over to the sink.]

If that's your answer, I might have ti try and prove you wrong.

[ By picking out random pieces of random costumes to make the silliest costume, or something like that. ]

[ He can't help but smirk a little as she "threatens that", setting the dish towel aside as he oh so smoothly wraps his arms around her waist and comes to stand behind her, chin resting on her shoulder. ]

You can try, but I have a feeling I'll still like it either way.

[ And smooth he certainly was. She giggled softly, her body completely relaxing under his touch. She lightly leaned her head to the side to affectionately nudge his before she started cleaning off her own plate. ]

Even if nothing went together at all?

You know, for a second there, I thought you were gonna say nothing at all and I was gonna insist I get a peek at that.

[ And he might just chuckle a little under his breath at that. ]

[ How is she supposed to concentrate on her task at hand when he's pulling out lines like that? Her cheeks were rosy once more, and for a moment she was glad Nero was behind her instead so he couldn't quite see how flustered she was growing. ]

N-now what sort of costume would that be, Nero?

[ She tried to come off as scolding, but her warm tone gave her away. ]

One that I like seeing when it's just you and me.

[ And with a grin on his lips, he presses a few kisses along her neck, just because he can. ]

[faithfulsinging]

[ His gentle kisses were enough to make her pause in her cleaning and a soft sound slipped past her lips. Even her heart started picking up a little. ]

Well... it would be a pretty easy costume to slip into just for you.

Yeah?

[ Again, he grins, this time against the crook of her neck before he presses a couple more kisses there and pulls back to tilt his head some. ]

Do I have to wait for Halloween?

[faithfulsinging]

Hmmm.

[ She tried to make it sound as if it were the most difficult question he's ever asked her. She sets the clean plate down and after quickly wiping off her fingers she let her hands move to rest on top of Nero's. ]

I think I could be convinced to show you sooner.

[ She really had meant to think of actual costumes at one point, but then she got swept into Nero's flirting. ]

[ He's become so terrible with it. ]

Yeah? And... how much sooner are we talking?

[ Even as he asks that, he keeps his head tilted and brows raised, turning his hands to slip his fingers between hers. ]

[ She gives his hands a gentle squeeze and tilts her head back a little to glance at him. Her cheeks were burning, and her eyes were filled with a look of love. ]

That's a good question. I wonder how soon you'd like to see...
